Farm News
Our fifth calf has coloring that's a surprise. While black is usually dominant, we can figure it this way: his dad is a registered Hereford, but if you note, the momma has a white face - which means she has some Hereford in her own bloodline, although her mom's own sire is a Belted Galloway. (White-faces on cattle generally come from Hereford stock, somewhere.)
So that makes this calf 1/2 Hereford, 1/4 Galloway, and the rest is some mix. So there is more Hereford in him than everything else. Meaning, he's a stand-out red because Nature loves to surprise us.
Namerator alert: This calf has no other white on him than his cute face, so should give you inspiration for your internal namerator. So send your suggestions in by just replying to this email.
PS. You may recall "Grannie Stripe", named for her own white-striped face. Her mother was solid red with a white face..., some 17 years ago.)
Cozy Cottage (Tiny Home) Progress
That split-level loft now set in place with a nice solid floor. The remaining nailers for the ceiling are going in. I hope to be working on the sheathing starting this next Monday. ("While Man plans, God laughs.") At least it's dry to work inside with all of this rain...
Walls will be antique white and ceiling to be a semi-gloss white - both working to give us more space and light inside. I expect to put a dark brown color on the loft deck, which then predicts the trim might wind up be that same brown as well, but we'll see...

What's Ahead?
Studying Romance continues - and testing what I discover in person...
My regular week is interrupted by my "research days" where Romance takes the front burner. Occasionally, one of these days also aligns with my weekly auction visit. Where my research companion gets to dive into all things farming, among other her delights. Otherwise, I can't complain when other work (the cozy cottage on wheels above) takes the back burner for those days. All this research will, as I mentioned, change my writing style as I get more grounding in this area. In addition to giving me another brilliant "what-iffer" to help me brainstorm new story ideas.
And meanwhile... The updating and re-publishing continues.
I'm continuing in updating all the Ghost Hunter Anthologies. There are 14 of them, so you can get your collections updated. We're just over half-way now. Once those are done, then I'll be reviewing and updating all the other anthologies in order of how well they are selling (or your own favorites...)
I'm now publishing the ready courses, as well as backlogged audio books that haven't been published. These take more time than simply updating an existing book. Time I have to carve out somehow...
All this means is that you are still going to have some refreshed reading material every week, while I'm busy on the farm, building stuff, and "studying" real-world romance in my "spare" time.
So - stay tuned...
Oh - wait, there's more: The recent results just confirm all I've been telling (some of) you for years - you can actually have and be anything and everything you want out of life. Really. Whether it's finding a dear companion or a million-dollar salary. And it's all in that "Strangest Secret Collection" (my characters named it the "decoder ring"). You only have to take the leap of faith and put it into use...
