Farm News

Calves keep on coming - now we are down to only two cows who haven't had their calves yet. That will make it 18 this year.

This week's featured calf is number 10:

That face is about the only markings it has, from his Hereford dad. His momma was herself raised on this farm, from an Angus dad and Angus-cross mom. We have three all black Angus left, plus a couple all or mostly black Galloway cross cows. That's where our black-white-face calves have come from this year.

So feel free to give me your ideas for a name. Just reply to this email with your inspiration...

Cozy Cottage (Tiny Home) Progress

Actually spent the entirety of last week on romance "research". In addition to farm chores - this kept me quite busy all on their own.

Still, the cottage should be ready by mid-summer - or so. Looking forward to getting more done this week as my research partner had to call in a lot of favors to cover her spending all that quality research time here...

Fiction Re-release - Ghost Hunters Anthology 13

Two more Ghost Hunters anthologies after this one. At least they are all done but the fancy 3D covers, so it makes the whole process go faster.

The adventures of the Ghost Hunters continue - with more exotic locations and hair-raising paranormal adventures than ever before.

This new anthology of short story fiction by S. H. Marpel and various co-authors brings you new ideas to digest - all in the short periods of time you have available.

Explore such ideas as:

- A young girl who could create whole universes to explore, yet had no idea what to do with such powers. So she bent time and space to visit an uncle and aunt who just might...

- A phantom created out of electrons, who somehow learned to pass for human - but still knew something was missing within her heart.

- When the walls finally closed, the dangers that threatened the city were now secured outside, but it's residents were now contained inside its walls forever. One young woman resisted - in order to meet her lover one last time...

- Three genius grad students meet a real-life goddess older than the planet itself - and she tasks them with figuring out how to save their world in just two weeks. With nothing more than their minds.

Anthology containing:

The Girl Who Believed Tomorrow by J. R. Kruze
Cassie 2.0b by S. H. Marpel, J. R. Kruze
Riot Wall by S. H. Marpel, R. L. Saunders
Idylls of a Lazurai by S. H. Marpel, J. R. Kruze

Our Pay What You Want edition:

Available at all major online outlets:

New! Complete "If You Can Count to Four..." audiobook!

These are 10 audio files, which can be downloaded or streamed, which lay out the core data of this book - plus transcripts and bonus lessons.

How To Get Everything You Want Out Of Life

There are basic laws in this universe that will work for you if you know how to apply them. They work for anyone who knows they exist and how to use them.

The law of electricity works for all of us. We can burn your house down with electricity or you can light your home with it. You don't have to be a genius to do it. A child three years old can push a button and turn the lights on.

Millions of people have been taught to believe that the rules of success are indeed so very difficult and complicated that surely they could never learn them.

I found out that anyone can be genuinely successful if he will learn the exact same "rules" that the successful people learned and use them.

I'm going to lay down a simple basic way and you can have anything material you want to have and you can be anything you want to be. These are scientific things that work every time if you will do it in a simple way.

We can decide what we want in life in a home, in an automobile, in the clothes we wear, anything that we want in this world--any type of furniture, any type of a home, any type of an anything.

Regardless of your background, your lack of education, your lack of knowing anyone who is supposed to be important, your lack of funds, or any other seeming lack, you can still be what you want to be and have what you want to have.

If you have just one little desire right now that you wish fulfilled and you don't know exactly how to go about it, then you are ready to learn how to “Count to Four".

Pay What You Want:

What's Ahead?

Coming soon - more Audio books and podcasts!

After I discovered I have a lot of audio books and "book-casts" (audiobook as a podcast) unpublished, I started putting them up on Gumroad in addition to anything I already have on Findaway. These also come with publishers' discounts and Pay What You Want. Again, giving you every chance to get great value by buying direct - and we can always use saving money these days...

More news on this as it develops.

Some new books working in the background.

These are really along the three/four main lines of interest I've worked down for decades now. What I'm working up is getting weekly videos out on each area. (And, if the audio is good enough, to also produce these as audiobooks.) Mainly this goes down three lines of non-fiction and also my fiction creations:

  • Strangest Secret - which also includes Napoleon Hill's works and Count to Four, etc.
  • Becoming A Writer - which includes and springboards off that key book and also adds in my other research toward creating perennial top-selling books.
  • Four Acres and Independence - while I've worked on grazing, this is just a small part of having a sustainable and high quality-of-life situation. This book gives a nice start for preppers or anyone who simply wants to live more naturally.
  • And - Fiction. I have to review and rework my priorities for new short stories and then finish up everything I have notes for (which is some two years of stories at one per week.)

This means three videos each week (generated through a service), plus a new fiction story and it's video trailer. Lots of work. Means I have to get all this farm work and renovations either out of the way or into a specific slot every day.

Studying Romance continues - in person.

My weeks are tight with too much work these weeks. Fencing and rotating pastures are competing with time spent studying my "certain other" who is very understanding - to a point. And we have our own adventures upcoming, which you'll hear about soon. But the overall point is not that it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but rather they come up with new approaches these can employ due to their wide, previous experiences...

(Tip: the best stories have a strong romance arc that compliments the others - yes, I've said this before, but it seems that the romance angle is perhaps the most important one. Right up there with redemption. The strongest action movie falls flat without real commitment to this area of our character's lives.)

And meanwhile... The updating and re-publishing continues.

Now I've updated all the Ghost Hunter Anthologies. But we have three more to tell you about. There are 15 of them in total right now, so you can take this pause in my writing to get your collections updated. The last is a primer of all the stories where 17 main characters in this series were introduced. Once these are all done, I start an adventure in advertising. My creative work will then be on non-fiction courses while I wait for these results. But look for video trailers for each book...

All this means is that you are still going to have some refreshed reading material every week, while I'm busy on the farm, building and repairing fences and other stuff, all while "studying" real-world romance in my "spare" time.

So - stay tuned...

Oh - wait, there's more: The recent results just confirm all I've been telling (some of) you for years - you can actually have and be anything and everything you want out of life. Really. Whether it's finding a dear companion or a million-dollar salary. And it's all in that "Strangest Secret Collection" (my characters named it the "decoder ring"). You only have to take the leap of faith and put it into use...

(Again, to get your updated copy, just reply to this and ask - I'll send you the most recent edition if you don't have yours or misplaced it.) As well, I do need to get some courses up, so I'll start working these in once I get all the major non-fiction books republished.
